Youth Development Fund
the Youth Development Fund (YDF) is an innovate project where young people take responsibility in planning and delivering an individual project. The project aims to broaden the horizons of young people, providing the vital spark that young people need to ignite their passions and practically develop their skills for real world success.
there are four elements to every YDF Project, it must broaden horizons, include an element of learning and culture and most importability be fun.

young people build key skills throughout the project which will focus around communication & social skills, leadership development & critical thinking and problem-solving skills. These are the skills we all need to develop to successfully tackle adult life.

This project is funded by Sellafield Ltd, who we thank for continuing to support this project not only with our young people but young people across Copeland.
Cultural Visit to Liverpool
during the Easter holidays we took groups of young people to Liverpool for a three day cultural visit.

we had three fantastic days taking part in many cultural, learning and fun activities. We did a city tour, visited the
and maritime museums, went to the Beatles experience as well as playing crazy golf, go karting and visiting an arcade.
The young people enjoyed seeing the sights and sounds of a busy City like Liverpool and commented on how different it is to home.

everyone is welcome
